Singing at the Theatre Royal
On Monday Kumara School went to the Theatre Royal to sing to the elderly.
On the way there we had to choose a buddy my buddy was Archie. It was good because he was calm but excited at the same time. As we walk inside the theatre royal we made our mark on the carpet and sang.
As I open my mouth to sing my face freezes with embarrassment. It was awkward singing in front of a big crowd.
I could smell the delicious food getting served all around me.I could feel the sweat dripping down my face because in side the theatre royal was on fire.
I could hear people talking and laughing also clapping it was weird.I could see the community smiling and laughing I felt happy that they smiling.
Suddenly the singing was over and we got called outside. The workers from the theatre royal served us chips and tomato sauce. I could taste the delicious salty chips hit my mouth it felt like was in heaven.
That was my experience of singing at the Theatre Royal.
